Combined Cadet Force (CCF) is a unique educational partnership funded primarily by the Military of Defence operating in schools across the United Kingdom.
Whitecross Hereford is proud to be affiliated with Hereford Cathedral School where our students come together to experience all that CCF has to offer. Through military themed and adventurous activities, cadets have the opportunity to develop skills such as leadership, responsibility, self-reliance, resourcefulness, endurance and perseverance.
Students in Years 8, 9, 10 and 11 can join as cadets. They take part in the annual Remembrance Parade in the city centre each November and have opportunities to attend camps where cadets enjoy activities such as raft building, rock climbing and kayaking. Section relevant activities include visiting ships, sailing, flying and range days where cadets put their weapons handling and marksmanship skills to the test.
