Catering

Alliance in Partnership provides a first class catering service for the students and staff at Whitecross.

Hot food is served daily along with wraps, rolls, baguettes and sandwiches and students can also buy decaffeinated coffee together with a selection of cakes, cookies and snacks.

"We always take pride in the food we offer." said Donna Wilkes, Catering Manager. "Our aim continues to be to provide good quality, locally sourced, nutritionally balanced, value for money food and refreshments. We constantly monitor our standards and are delighted to have been awarded 5 Gold Stars by the Herefordshire Council 'Scores On The Doors' initiative."

AIP select their suppliers with care and source locally produced foods from Total Produce, Country Flavours for free range eggs, Tyrrells, Court Farm, Little Verzons and Gamber Produce. Donna believes that the fewer miles that food travels, the fresher it is and the quality is guaranteed to be first class.

Using a cashless biometric system means that students no longer need to carry money. Fingerprints are scanned and money can be added to a student's account. We recommend parents use Parent Pay; an easy secure online facility whereby money can be added to a student's account at any time. If parents prefer to send cheques in to school, please note these should be made payable to 'Alliance in Partnership'. There is currently a daily spend limit of £5.00 however, parents may request an alternative amount.

As a company, AIP review the cost of ingredients constantly and acknowledge the importance of school meals remaining good value, but from time to time may have to increase prices to reflect the current market prices.
